So Sterling doesn't get out of class till 10pm.....

This is my older sister Jen. To say the least, she is amazing in every way. She is a fabulous mother(of four), sister, wife, daughter, niece, friend, etc.(She pretty much rocks in every aspect of her life).
She has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Yesterday, she had a huge tumor the size of a football removed from her stomach. The doctors are very optimistic that they got everything. Jen is doing exceptionally well. Please keep her in your prayers! We love you Jen!!!

Cutest husband ever...

Sterling loves legos. I had no idea how much until I married him. On Saturday he went to the lego store and came home with three new sets...including the huge crane that you see behind him and the shirt he is wearing.
This is just one of the many reasons why I think he is going to be such an fabulous father!

Missionary work rocks!!

This is our adorable friend Erna. Sterling and I met her about three months ago when the missionaries asked us if we would give her a ride to church. We have been giving her a ride ever since. She is from Mongolia and is here learning English. She has become a good friend and we have a lot of fun together.(this week we are trying ice skating)
Today she was baptized. I sort of felt like I was back on my mission today. There was hardly anyone there when we arrived at the church...I went in to panic mode thinking how very important this day would be and stressed that no one was there but the missionaries and ward mission leader. And then like clockwork the members started showing up and the room became very full. After her baptism, she bore the most beautiful testimony.
I love missionary work and love seeing the gospel change people's lives.

Gotta love the Holidays!

There is nothing better than being home for the holidays. We just got back from spending two weeks in Utah and had the best time. We spent lots of time with family and friends. We got to meet our new niece Vela and our new nephew Ezra. We unfortunately don't have pictures of everyone who we saw, but we will share the pictures we do have...
One of the main things I loved about being home is that we got to see my parents new house all decorated for the holidays. My mom has such fabulous taste! Little Vela was in the hospital on Christmas Eve, so she missed out on all the festivities but didn't complain one bit! She is so adorable and such a sweet baby.
My mom turned 60 while we were home and we had a big party for her. My mom is so wonderful, we were happy we got to be there to celebrate with her!
Halle and Hunter both had the chicken pox while we were there. We did not get to see too much of them unfortunately.
We did get in lots of relaxation time while we were there!

We went to Becky and Hema's for New Years and partied! It was a lot of fun.
I don't have many pictures of the Fillmore's but we had lots of fun with them also. We went sledding, played games, Fat Cats, we saw the Nutcracker(my first time), we went to the Hale Center Theater and spend lots of time talking and catching up.
We love both of our families so much and love how each time we see them...there are more of them! We love you all and miss you more!
