Wish I could go....

There is no one who loves to get out and do things like my husband. Sterling LOVES going and seeing sites and trying anything new.

When we were in North Carolina a month ago, there were tons of people surf fishing off the beach. Sterling hasn't been able to think of much else and decided to give it a try! He bought a pole and went with two of his friends on Saturday up to Deleware. I couldn't go, because I work Saturdays(not for much longer:)).

Unfortunately they didn't catch anything...but they still had a fantastic time. Hopefully baby Sterling will like getting out and doing stuff as much as his dad does!

Utah plans!!!

I will be in Utah from July 26-August 10th. I am really looking forward to coming home and spending time with family and friends. It will be a busy trip! I will be watching Marilee's kids for a week of it and will be in Idaho for a week. That being said, I would LOVE to see everyone! You won't be able to miss me...or my belly! Let me know what your plans are.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend my 10 year high school reunion. I am already flying as late in my pregnancy as possible. I will be counting on my girls to give me a detailed update on how everyone is doing!!!!

4th of July!!!

We had the best 4th of July ever! We went up to Gettysburg, where they were having the 145th anniversary of the battle at Gettysburg. It was the best thing ever! Sterling really wanted to go last year and we weren't able too, so this year we went for it. It was the funnest day we've had in a long time!!!!
We sat in a huge grand-stand to watch down on this field. It was amazing how many people participated in the battle! There were thousands of people who were involved in the reenactment.
There were sooo many people there! Wes and Ann went up with us to enjoy the day.
Of course I needed kettle corn! The small bag was obviously not going to be enough so I went with the large bag.
Enjoying the battle!
Some of the soldiers, these guys really are passionate about what they do!
This battle was hardcore!

Did I mention it was raining most of the day? Sterling found us these awesome ponchos to wear. I loved the rain! I was so nervous that it was going to be hot and miserable, luckily it was cool most of the day.

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays and this year was just such a blast to be at Gettysburg! We missed being with family, but this was probably the next best thing!!

Just three months....

I am not even sure where the time has gone. When I first found out I was pregnant, I was pretty much counting the seconds, wishing they could somehow go by faster. Now, months fly by at a time, and I am already in my third trimester. Baby Sterling(what I like to call him at times), is going to be here in three months! Do I have a crib?..NO! clothes? diapers? car seat? wipes? stroller? anything?...NO!

Let me explain myself before anyone thinks that I am not over-the-moon excited about this baby. I was so nervous the first 20 weeks that everything was going to be ok, that I wouldn't even allow myself to buy a thing. Then, the last 7 weeks or so have been so enjoyable, just feeling him to karate everyday, that the time somehow has just flown by! I love feeling him alive inside me!

NOW, it is time to prepare! I feel like there is so much to do and I have so little time to do it. I will say in my defense, I have made him a few quilts, Sterling did by him some camo outfits, family has sent and given us things, so he isn't THAT bad off.
So really, how much more does he really need??? Besides a crib, stroller, car seat, diapers, wipes, clothes, bath equipment, and a few other minor things?!?!
(We won't even discuss the whole birthing process.....yikes!!!)
