"FOUR MONTHS YOU SAY..."

Little Dellin Parker is 4 months old today and I cannot believe it. He was a complete angel at his appointment. He is a bit smaller than his older brother was at 4 months but healthy as can be.

His stats.

Weight: 14 lbs. 15 oz (50%)
Height: 26 inches (90%)
Cuteness: (100 %)

He is a DREAM baby in every way.
He smiles ALL day long.
He sleeps for 10+ hours at night and takes good naps during the day.
He eats like a champ and is already loving rice cereal.
He LOVES his older brother and puts up with all the "hugs" and "loves" that he gets from him.
He has the cutest little laugh.
He is patient to wait when I can't get to him right away.
He is a super snuggler.
He makes the funniest noises when he sleeps that sound sort of like a gremlin.

Most importantly, he is an answer to our prayers and we LOVE having him in our FAMILY.
WE LOVE OUR BOYS!

Thank you Janey Glenn.

Yesterday I went with a friend up to Annapolis Maryland to the Naval Academy to watch the airshow. I have been wanting to go to an airshow for a LONG time. Ever since Janey Glenn described one on the movie Girls Just Want To Have Fun. This wasn't a full airshow, it was just the Blue Angels and it was AWESOME!

It also happened to be the HOTTEST day we have had yet. It was 90 degrees and we felt it. We hung out under the shade till it started. The kids just played around. Sterling Henry had a great time with Savannah and Jakson.

It was LOUD. Really loud. Sterling Henry loved most of it and only cried once. Here is some video so you can get a feel for it.

I had Dellin in the stroller with blankets all around his ears to muffle the noise. He cried at the same part that Sterling Henry did and the rest of the time he slept like a baby.

Annapolis is right on the water. The pier is beautiful. There a lots of fun shops and restaurants. We will definitely be going back there soon. The boys want to bring dad next time.
After a long day in the sun it is nice to chill in front of the AC. Sterling Henry did this for quite a while when we got home.
Thanks Kathrine for a fun day!

IS IT REALLY MONDAY???

So if you are like me, you LOVE the weekends. Dad is home and the fun begins at our house.

Here is our weekend is picture form.

Friday night we got take-out from Ravi Kabob and headed down to the memorials to have a picnic with some friends.

Sterling Henry loved climbing up and down the stairs of the Jefferson Memorial.

Saturday morning I went to our stake service expo with Dellin and Sterling took S.H. to Gravelly Point to watch the planes take off.
Needless to say, he LOVED it!

Later in the day we all headed out to run some errands. Sterling Henry called grandma Fillmore and talked her ear off.

We went to the NRA museum. Pretty awesome.

We ended the night by watching AVATAR. I had no idea what the movie was about going into it, but I really enjoyed it. It had a bit more language than I like but otherwise, it was pretty amazing.

We went to our church meetings and heard the most beautiful music number by our ward choir and primary. They sang the children's song, "God is Love". BEAUTIFUL.

We then headed to some friend's house for a barbecue. DELICIOUS.
We came home and changed into pajamas and headed over to some other friend's house to watch the grand finale ending of Lost. I loved it!
After 3 very late nights, we are all tired and Sterling is back to work. Today is going to be a bit long I think. Totally worth it!

Our little dudes.

Our boys are growing up so fast.

Dellin is such a little man. He is the HAPPIEST baby. He is really starting to love tummy time.

Dellin is really starting to get his own little look.

I love this picture of me and Dellin. We can't get enough of our little cub. (I cut my hair since this picture, maybe I will post some pictures soon.)

I have been waiting a LONG time to put my boys in matching clothes. Matching camo shorts might be the cutest thing ever. I even made their dad put on his camo shorts but unfortunately no picture of the three of them.
We really LOVE our little dudes!

Our week

Sunday dinner turned out AMAZING! Take a look for yourself, Sterling really spoiled me on Sunday.

Sterling Henry is obsessed with singing hymns. He begs me to get down the hymn book each day and opens it and starts singing!

Someone tried rice cereal this week and LOVED it!

In an attempt to not look like I am still pregnant I have been doing an ab video workout. Ok so I have only done it once. Sterling Henry thinks it's hilarious and did his own version.

This is how our week has been going so far.

I am in love with these boys.

Life just couldn't be better!

Mother I love you. Mother I do!

Mother's Day is one of my favorite days of the year. I always am sad when I hear stories about mothers who don't enjoy Mother's Day. I realize that not everyone has fond memories of their own mother and others feel that they are not a good mom themselves. I think most moms are better than they think. All the moms I know GREAT!

Here I am with my two moms. I love them both! They teach me so much and I look up to both of them. They both are amazing example of unwavering faith. They have raised beautiful families. I feel lucky to have two such amazing women to look too while I am raising my own family. I call them both often and ask for advice.

October 9th, 2008 We welcomed in our firstborn.

January 29th 2010 We were blessed again with our second healthy, beautiful, baby boy.
My life has been changed forever by having these two sweet bundles. I love them both and look forward to have LOTS more. Being a mother is more rewarding than I ever could have imagined!

I was awakened this morning with some wonderful gifts from my hubby and the boys.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ME!!!

Sterling made french toast with my new pan for breakfast.
The other pan is in the oven right now cooking dinner.

I might be the luckiest girl alive!

24 HOURS

What have you done in the last 24 hours?

My good friend Jessica took Sterling Henry to the park and then to her house to play since I was feeling under the weather (24-hour bug). THANK YOU JESSICA!

My bff Sarah came over last night and brought dinner.

Sterling went fishing last night and caught BIG fish. I make sure he takes the camera so he has proof and serious bragging rights.

The boys took a bath this morning. They take one every morning but today they both seemed to have a good time together. I think they are really starting to like one another.

After bath time, we went to the zoo. We love our zoo! It is free (thanks to your tax dollars), we always find free 2-hour parking, and it only takes us 15 minutes to get there. It makes for a very fun morning. Sterling Henry is finally at the age where he notices the animals. I think we will be going there weekly all summer. Feel free to join us...
One of the things I love about our zoo is the fact that we have pandas. Since China owns all the pandas in the world, they are on "loan". There has been a "baby panda watch" going on for the last couple of weeks because they thought the female panda (Mei Xiang) was pregnant. Apparently pandas have not been able to reproduce in captivity so they do artificial insemination. They thought Mei Xiang was pregnant because she was doing all the usual nesting signs that pandas do before they deliver so they were really surprised when she did not have a baby. One of the workers at the zoo told me today that she has infertility problems so they were really hoping it would work this time. Pandas having infertility problems??? My heart breaks for her.
Probably more info than you wanted on pandas but I thought the whole thing was very interesting.

Now the boys are down for naps and in just a few hours the weekend starts... YIPEE!

Two of our favorite things.

There are two things that we absolutely love as of late.

Going to the park...

And snuggling in matching pajamas.
I just have to say how much I love these pajamas. They are the best gowns ever. They are Gap First Favorites and an absolute must. My lovely friend Eliza introduced them to us and we love them. The key is to get size 6-12 months and they last forever!
