SUCH A LITTLE MAN!

I am pretty much obsessed with little Sterling wearing a white shirt and tie to church. Today he sported one of his new ties and he looked so cute!





This last one was a bit blurry, but it is one of the only pictures where you can see his teeth! (and his smile is just too cute.)

JUST A FEW REASONS WHY...

my husband ROCKS!!!

He brought home this beautiful lily the other day just because he knew I would love it!


I honestly can't even remember the last time I took out the trash. Sterling always takes it out! Regardless of what he is doing or how tired he is, he never complains if I ask him to take it out. That being said, I hardly ever have to ask him because he just does it!
This trip was picture worthy because we cannot understand how two people (and one baby) can accumulate so much trash!



He is the best dad! He loves to spend time with little Sterling Henry. Sterling Henry is obsessed with his dad. From the second his dad gets home he can't take his eyes off him! One of their favorite past times is napping together... I LOVE it!

And then let us not forget about this or this!

He manages to do all this and SO much more, on top of being a full-time law student and working 30 hours a week! I couldn't be any prouder of my sweet husband!

*We are both looking forward to him graduating in May so we can have a little more time to go on trips (Dave and Mel we are coming your way), and all the other things we don't have enough time for now!

BUSY BUSY DAY!

Today was such a great day.

It started out early with meeting up with my old coach/teacher Jill Skidmore. Her husband was running the DC Marathon so we got together for breakfast and had such a great time. It was so fun catching up with her and meeting her cute boys!

In the afternoon, we went to lunch with some friends at our favorite Indian buffet.

Then we headed to the temple and left Sterling for the first time with a babysitter, Jessica (Matthew's mommy). They had a fabulous time together. I was a little nervous, but really we couldn't have left him in better hands!

It was the first time we have been to the temple since Sterling Henry was born and it was wonderful!

After the temple, I left my boys at home and headed to a Twilight party that was FaBuLoUs!!! We watched the movie and ate the best Italian food... thanks Becky! It was fun to watch all the deleted scenes and extras. My husband is pretty done with Twilight, so I might be taking a small break... at least from talking and posting about it!

UM... I THOUGHT I ORDERED A LARGE DRINK?

Sometimes Diet Barqs is a perfect snack...and sometimes you need something a little more! Sterling called me on the way home from class to ask if I wanted a drink(best husband ever). I told him to make sure and get a 44oz not just a 32oz. Well in total Sterling fashion, he came home with a 64oz!!! That is the first time I have ever had a double gulp, I shamelessly finished the whole thing and loved it!
My hubby is a definite keeper!!!!

MOVE OVER GERBER!

I made my first batch of baby food today and it went pretty well. I started really easy with sweet potatoes and butternut squash. With the way our little man eats, this will be gone in no time!!

5 MONTHS!!!

Sterling turned 5 months on Monday! He is so much fun and such a joy to have around the house. He makes us laugh all the time. He sleeps through the night, eats like a champ, and is such a happy baby!

THE PERFECT SNACK!

If you are anything like me then you have a serious sweet tooth! When it comes to treats I have very little self control...if any! Easter is the worst time of year for me thanks to Cadbury anything, especially the mini eggs in the dark purple bag!!!!




I have found that keeping a case of diet Barqs (or A&W, whichever is on sale) in the fridge makes for the perfect snack, especially in the evenings and on Sundays!

BIG TIME!

Sterling got his new high chair and he loves it!!! He use to look like this(which is dang cute, but scrunched).


Now he is all relaxed in his new seat!





I highly recommend this high chair if you are in the market. It is from Ikea and completely amazing in every way, economical, efficient, and so easy to clean!
