Don't you think if I was having twins, I would know!!!!
So I might be a LITTLE over emotional at this stage of the game. I swear, the nerve of some people. Granted, most of these comments come from people I don't know or don't know well. It is still so amazing what people will say to me. All I want to hear, even if you have to lie is..."You look beautiful!", "Wow, you are due this week, you are so small!", or even, "Have you been working out, you look great!". Is that too much to ask???
All is all, I am feeling great, minus the extra large feet. I have loved being off of work and have gotten so much accomplished this last week. I went to the gym everyday, got our 6-month food storage ready, cleaned out our closets, took stuff to good will, washed all the baby stuff, deep cleaned blinds and fans, and made a yummy dinner each night! I only have two more things left to do on my list. I probably should take a little more time to kick my feet up this week and relax.
Best part about this next week....my mom comes on Thursday....HURRAY!!!!

Final Cravings!!!
For the last couple weeks I have totally been craving a whole wheat cinnamon roll from Great Harvest. The best part is, I haven't had one of those in at least 5 years!! Anyway, I decided to give it a try. I made a batch today and they are delicious!!!! I do think my frosting is a bit tastier. As if you could go wrong with all that cream cheese!Anyone who stops by to visit me in the next 24 hours can have as many as you want...that's if I don't eat them all first!!!

CAMPING TRIP!
A few months ago, I committed to go camping with Sterling and some of our friends. I knew it would be a bit risky, being so far along and all, but didn't want to miss out! Eliza is due just a week after me, and we took comfort in the fact that Dave (who is doing his residency right now) was coming. Nice to travel with a doc!
The forecast predicted rain all weekend, so we weren't quite sure how it was going to turn out. We finally booked little cabins last minute and went for it. We had the best time. It was so fun to get out of the city and get together with friends.
These guys are Sterling's good friends from high school/college. When I first met Sterling while living in the BC apts., he was roomates with Dave, Taylor, and Matt (Dave's wife Mel was also in our ward). It is fun to get together with these guys and hear all they stories. They all married such great girls who I love to hang out with.
Saturday morning the boys put on a killer breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns, fruit, yummy bread, and let's just say I'm still full!!!
The cabins sat right on this great lake in Pennsylvannia , it was beautiful. I didn't partake in any swimming but it looked like a lot of fun! Sterling and his friends played "man games"...it was hilarious!
500 flies anyone?? The boys were getting ready for the BYU game, which we got in the cabins. We couldn't even get phone service up there, but of course they had cable! I wish I had a picture of the boys sitting around watching the game on the world's smallest TV. They had no complaints!
The rain held off long enough on Saturday so that we could still have a campfire. We ate lots of smores and roasted starburts!!(thanks AnnDee)
Sort of a frightening picture but the smores really were that good!!! All the little kids loved the smores and so did baby Sterling! (He kicked like crazy that night:)Thanks to Dave and Mel for planning this fun camping trip! We had such a great time seeing everyone!!

BABY SHOWER!!!
My adorable friends Jessica and Taryn gave me the cutest baby shower last night! Baby Sterling has been completely spoiled and has everything he could ever imagine! Thank you to all who came, it was great seeing you.
Unfortunately I hardly took any pictures. Here is the food table which was extra yummy! Fruit pizza, dipped peanut butter cookies, dipped pretzels, fruit, and these yummy cinnamon roll croissants. Needless to say, I had my sugar fill for the month!!!
Taryn made these adorable cupcakes with a cute "S" for baby Sterling. They were delicious!
This picture does not do the decor any justice. Jessica has baby clothes hanging from a clothes line. It was so dang cute! I wish my picture was better.Thank you so much Jessica and Taryn. You girls are the best!!!

MY NEW BEST FRIEND!!!
Some of you may have read my post a few weeks ago about a delicious frozen yogurt place in DC called Mr. Yogato. I have only been there twice, but have craved it every day since.
I would go there everyday if it didn't take forever to get there and find parking. So my wonderful sisters told me about a little trick...making my own. I bought this ice cream maker and have had frozen yogurt almost every night since!
Here is my favorite recipe...
1/4 cup sugar( adding more will make it sweeter. I like it tarty.)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chopped fruit( I think that peach is the best.)
*Mix in a bowl. Turn on ice cream maker. Wait 20 minutes...and VOILA, you have the best frozen yogurt of all times.
The best part is...it is totally guilt free!! Hope you enjoy!!!

DIAPER CAKE!!!
Last night I had a work meeting. I was a little annoyed seeing how it was on a Sunday night. I went anyway and it turned out to be a baby shower for me as well. They totally surprised me and had cake, balloons, and some adorable gifts!
I got some really cute outfits and this adorable diaper cake. I have seen one of these online before and wanted to make one...so cute!! Denise who I work with made it with her mom. It is full of diapers, onesies, hats, burp cloths, lotions, soap, and tons of other cute baby stuff. I don't ever want to take it apart it is just that cute! (THE PICTURE DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE)Thanks to all those fabulous people that I work with! You guys are the best!

LABOR DAY not labor day!
We had such a nice Labor Day this year! I always have to work Monday holidays (but not for much longer), and this year was no different. I had to go in at 1pm so we decided to get up early and go to the National Arboretum.
We walked the whole perimeter and only checked our a couple of the areas. We were there for about 2 hours and I got quite the workout! It is right in the middle on DC and when you are in there walking around you can't hear a thing, you have no idea you are right in the middle of the city...it is awesome!
One of my favorite areas was the bonsai of course. How cute are miniature trees? I could not get enough of them! I want a bonsai tree...that is going to be my new hobby for sure!
This one was not even a foot tall and it has been "in training" for 32 years!
This one looks like someone shrunk a small area from the woods....so dang cute!
Not the most flattering picture of me but the pond was so beautiful...look at those lily pads! I think I am going to need something like this is my backyard someday!Sterling of course loved it as well, he was in heaven! It is always fun to go see something we haven't seen before. I highly recommend the National Arboretum if you have the chance!
