Just two weeks later than his older brothers, The Gouverneur started walking himself. He has been taking a few steps for the last month but nothing more than that. It turns out having all his Fillmore cousins cheer him on really did the trick. Within one day of being in McCall, the boy was walking.
For the whole first week he kept that hand up in the air. Ready to give high-fives at any moment. He is still wobbly and darling but the hand in no longer in the air.
Way to go Gouverneur! The boys really do treat you as an equal now. But now you can stop growing up so fast because you're breaking our hearts.

Maybe he can give Lars some tips!! Theo and Ida both walked before their first birthdays...Lars is now 14 months old and not interested AT ALL. Oh well! Gouverneur is DARLING by the way!
