GRANDMA ERICKSON'S FUNERAL

We just got back on Friday from our quick visit to Utah. It was very quick but absolutely worth it. It was totally last minute which made it even more fun.

We went to attend Grandma Erickson's funeral. It was such a wonderful service. Four of her six kids are still alive and they all spoke. It was fun to hear sweet stories about grandma. She was an amazing woman and she will be missed greatly.

After the funeral, we all drove up to the Idaho Falls for the burial. She was buried in the Iona cemetery right next to her sweetheart Dehlin Erickson.




The boys did pretty well on the trip. It was fun to show them off to Sterling's extended family. Most of them had not yet had a chance to meet the boys.


Sterling's parents came back form their mission for the funeral. They are serving in British Columbia. We were so happy to see them. Don't they just look darling with their tags on?!?



Sterling flew back on Thursday with Sterling Henry. I got to stay till Friday with Dellin and spend a little time with my family.

We ate at Brick Oven of course. Kids LOVE my dad. He is so sweet with them and I love this picture with Dellin.

My mom slept over at Becky's that night with us. It was fun to spend so much time with her. She is the best! Cora and Dellin obviously think so.

Like I said, it was a quick trip but TOTALLY worth it. I don't have any pictures with Becky for some reason. We did take a few at Gardner's Village but we were both laughing so hard that they turned out pretty awkward. Thanks Becks for everything!

Thanks Mom and Dad Fillmore for making it possible. We LOVED being able to see you and spend time with you.
