I sort of hate these kinds of pictures but I never want to take pictures at night when Sterling is home so this is going to have to do for now. I snapped this just minutes ago if you couldn't tell.
I thought I would do a pregnancy/feelings post.
How am I feeling? GREAT! This pregnancy has flown by and I cannot believe that my due date is 7 days from now. Yes I am tired and having a hard time sleeping and completely uncomfortable. All things considered, I feel great.
I have gotten all sorts of comments and questions from people when they find/found out that I was pregnant again so quick. Are you excited? How old will Sterling Henry again? Did you plan that? How close will they be? Wow, that is going to be crazy huh? We did plan it and we have been THRILLED since day one.
I have always wanted to have lots of kids and have them really close. Getting married at 25 was later than I imagined (not old by any means). Sterling Henry didn't join us till I was 28 and after our 3rd anniversary which was WAY longer than we had wanted. But after three years of wondering if we would have kids, we were ecstatic when Sterling Henry joined our family . So the thought of waiting was not something we wanted to risk. We were lucky enough to get pregnant again so fast and cannot believe we are going to have our second baby.
I get so excited just thinking about the new little cub who will be joining us shortly. Will he be like Sterling Henry? What will he look like? Will he be a champion sleeper? What will he weigh? How will my labor go? How will Sterling Henry handle having a new little brother?
In just over a week, most of those questions will be answered and we will have kids. Not just a kid, but kids. Our lives will be crazy and hectic and I cannot wait. That is what I always thought being a mom would be like. Motherhood is the most amazing thing. I absolutely LOVE it and cannot imagine anything else I would rather be doing.
There you have it, in case you wanted it. Seven days and counting...

Love it!! You are such a fabulous mom. I can't wait for your little Dellin to arrive. I think Sterling H is going to be a great big brother and you certainly will never regret adding #2 to your family so fast!
You look so good. I am very jealous that you only have 7 days left.
Jessica I loved this post and I am so excited for you! I was really sorry to miss your shower. I hope the next seven days go fast and I can't wait to meet your new little guy soon!
you are a great mom. you look great. i looked like shamu was about to pop out of my belly. well, if i wore black and white, i actually did look like shamu.
i can totally see why people have their kids close together. i think it's great that you are going to have brothers so close and they will be best of buds! good luck this next week. i hope you get plenty of rest and i hope everything goes as planned!
you are definitely one who should have lots of kids. i'm so excited for you and can't wait to see pictures of your upcoming arrival.
I love when people ask if a pregnancy is planned!! Because that is pretty much one of the most awkward questions I can think of.
I think that one really fabulous side effect of having kids close together is that when they're so little, they really don't remember that far back and before very long Sterling won't know any different. At least, that was my experience. I think Sterling is going to step right up and love everything about the change and his new little buddy. He will love having company all the time, even (and especially) in his room with him at night! So fun!
Love it!!!
I am so so so happy for you. I think it would proably be easier to have them 15 months apart like you are then what I did and have them 2 years apart. Parker would have done so much better adapting to Jack if he was younger, but now they are best buddies and I love it. Your boys will be best buddies too. I hope everything goes perfect with your labor. Those 2 little boys are so lucky to have you as their mom.
YIPEE!!!
Jessica I love this post! You look AMAZING in the photo, I can't believe you. Lucky girl! I love how excited you are for #2, you are such a good mom, you deserve it. I can't wait to see what he'll look like either! Sorry to not know about the shower, I would have loved to come celebrate with you! Good luck on your final week, I'll be waiting the birth post anxiously! Yay for more kids!
I LOVE you! I'm so happy for you guys and can't wait to meet little Dellin. And once he arrives I hope you'll let us have Sterling over to play so you 2 can have some mommy/baby time! Ness needs friends!
i keep thinking about you and am so glad to hear that you are feeling so good and your positive attitude is just what I need! we are so excited for you guys and zanna just told me to tell you that she misses baby sterling (not so much baby anymore :)
So excited for you guys! We can't wait to see the new little guy either!
I totally agree with you about everything (as any sane person would). Having kids close together is fantastic. It is so fun to see them squeal at each other and run around and play together. I'm happy for you guys that you are having them all in a row too!
Good luck with this week! Lublu tebya.
